Having lived in New York all our lives we have been able to witness the many changes in all it's various neighborhoods and understand the market values that accompany such changes. No one knows better than us the nuances of one of the greatest cities in the world.

What this means is that, before taking up your valuable time, we will thoroughly review your needs, whether you are a buyer or a seller, with regard to financial, timing, space, construction and other issues which enter into so many real estate transactions.

3. If you are a buyer, we will preview all properties which appear suitable for your needs and discuss the pros and cons with you before we take you to see them. There is nothing more frustrating than being sent on wild goose chase because your broker has not done his or her homework.

4. If you are a seller, we will work closely with you in establishing pricing, marketing and staging strategies to effectuate as expeditious a sale as possible. We will not tell you simply what you want to hear, but what you need to know about the realities of the marketplace. And we know the market!

5. We understand what cooperative and condominium boards want to see and what will turn them off to a potential buyer. From a buyer’s or seller’s point of view, the board approval process can be one of great stress, and we consider it part of our job to advise you on the best way to complete and submit the board application.

Bios

Dan Babush, Bkr

Dan is a graduate of New York University and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Finance, where he received his Master of Business Administration degree.

From 1973-1985 he worked in Citibank’s Real Estate Division, responsible for construction and corporate real estate lending. He obtained his real estate broker’s license in 1978 and was also the only individual at the Bank to whom its brokerage license was attached on behalf of Citicorp Real Estate Inc. Dan left Citibank in 1985 holding the position of Vice President.

 

Subsequently, Dan was a partner in a real estate brokerage, syndication and consulting firm and later became an independent real estate broker in New York. He has provided financial consulting and litigation support services to major developers and law firms, as well as to individuals in need of real estate expertise across a broad spectrum of circumstances. And, of course, he has provided brokerage services to individuals on both the buy and sell sides of residential sales and rental transactions.

 

Dan’s background in so many different facets of the real estate world imbues him with a unique capability of providing thorough and first-class service for clients looking for more than just a guide to available properties in New York. Having Dan as your broker means that your needs will be met with a 360-degree view of the real estate market unmatched by most professionals in the field.

 

Dan has been a member of the Real Estate Board of New York since _______. His membership ensures that the Firm receives the most up-to-date listings available in the

New York City area and enables it to access an enormous data base of information on all properties listed in City records. Thus, if you need tax, zoning, prior sale or other information to help you in making a real estate decision, we can get it for you if it is available.

 

Among his other activities, Dan is the founder and President of Rentinrio.com, one of the best known apartment rental companies for travelers world-wide wishing to vacation in Rio and other areas of Brazil. Dan is also an avid skier who has navigated the slopes of some of the top ski resorts in the U.S., South America and Europe.

 

Erica Bunin, Bkr

Erica is a graduate of Baruch College of the City University of New York and of Fordham University Law School, where she received her law degree in 1981. In addition to being a broker with the Firm, she maintains her law license in the State of New York.

As if that weren’t enough, Erica is the President of the Board of Directors of Danspace Project, one of New York City’s premier contemporary dance organizations.

After graduating from law school, Erica worked in a New York City law firm for five years, where she handled litigation and appellate matters in the state and Federal courts.

She left law firm practice in 1986 to become an attorney in the legal department of Morgan Stanley, one of the largest investment banks in the world. At Morgan Stanley

Erica rose in the ranks to become an Executive Director and head of a practice group in the litigation area. Erica left Morgan Stanley after 20 years to enter the real estate profession. She obtained her broker’s license and is an extremely knowledgeable and valued member of our Firm.

 

Erica has an excellent feel for the New York City residential real estate market, and has been involved in a number of apartment transactions, including her own property. Having handled many closings early in her career as an attorney, she is very familiar with what needs to be done and how to do it. She has an in-depth knowledge of contract law which she can put to use when necessary, and during her long career as an attorney she became adept at the art of negotiation, which is a skill at the core of any successful real estate transaction.
